Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or other additional needs.
  • Assist with personal care, if required, and help students engage with classroom activities.
  • Support the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure students are able to access the curriculum.
  • Help with the development and implementation of strategies that promote inclusion, participation, and academic progress.
  • Foster a supportive and positive environment to build students' confidence and engagement.
Essential Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience working as a SEN Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role supporting students with SEN.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of students.
  • Safeguarding: Enhanced DBS check required (can be arranged if not already held).
  • Passion for SEN Support: A genuine desire to support and help students with additional learning needs succeed in their education.
Contract Positions:This is a contract position where successful applicants will be engaged through eXede Ltd on a PAYE (Pay As You Earn) basis.Safeguarding Commitment:We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
