We are working with a thriving primary school in Lambeth that is looking for a SEN Learning Support (SEMH) to join their primary team. Their overall aim is excellent for and from everyone. If you have the relevant experience and a keen interest in SEN, please read on!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be able to offer a programme of support.
  • Working collaboratively with team members.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Promote positive behaviours.
  • Be optimistic, hardworking, enthusiastic and creative.
  • Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with pupils with SEMH
  • Knowledge: Understanding of supporting SEN pupils
  • Desirable: Experience working with SEN children
