The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant - Islington
Your role as an SEN teaching assistant will require you to work both inside and outside of the classroom. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to a child in this role. Furthermore, you will also be working with other children who may have similar needs to those you are working with. You will be responsible for supporting smaller groups of children who are lower ability and require additional support in their academic studies as a SEN Teaching Assistant. As an assistant teacher for students with special needs, you may be required to provide interventions outside the classroom. Assist your teacher with daily classroom tasks and participate in classroom activities with the guidance of your teacher.
