The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant in the nurture room, you will be providing 1 to 1 support for various pupils with Autism. Many of the students are non-verbal so previous experience with Makaton and alternative communication methods is preferable. Children in the nurture room are mixed ages from reception to year 6.
