Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to SEN students within the classroom
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering and adapting lessons to meet individual needs
  • Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress
  • Create and customize learning resources to suit diverse student needs
  • Foster positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional well-being among students
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and external professionals to develop and implement effective strategies
