Job Vacancy: SEN PMLD Teaching Assistant
Location: Lambeth, London
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Pay Rate: £85–£90 per day PAYE
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Do you have the skills and dedication to help every child thrive? If so, we’d love for you to join our team as an SEN Teaching Assistant at a specialist school in Lambeth.
Your Role:- Provide one-on-one and group support to pupils with SEN.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development.
- Help with personal care or mobility needs, if required.
- Previous experience working with SEN children is desirable but not essential.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to helping children reach their full potential.
