As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping students overcome their challenges, build confidence, and succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Morning Support: Provide focused assistance to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including those with ADHD and potential self-harming behaviors.
• Afternoon Flexibility: Adapt your support across Key Stages 1 and 2, catering to a variety of educational needs and ensuring all students get the care they deserve.
• Create a Nurturing Environment: Use your talents to foster a safe, inclusive space where every child feels valued and empowered to thrive.
• Collaborative Support: Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement personalized support plans and interventions that meet individual needs.
• Encourage Growth: Build strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them develop academically and emotionally.
• Personal Care: Provide nappy changing and personal care assistance when needed, ensuring every student feels comfortable and supported throughout the day.

• Experience: Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge: A solid understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices is essential.
• Team Player: You’re a collaborative team member who can also work independently when needed.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students and staff.
• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable.
