About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a fantastic special school in Haringey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students with a variety of SEN, such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and sensory needs.
  • Providing 1:1 or small-group support to help students engage with their learning.
  • Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Helping to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt resources to meet students' needs.

What We're Looking For:The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school, care, or similar setting.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A commitment to promoting the well-being and development of every child.

While prior experience as an SEN TA is desirable, we welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills, such as those from social care, healthcare, or youth work backgrounds.
