We are currently looking for a SEN Teacher Assistant to work full time at a special needs school based in Chiswick. This special needs school dedicates themselves to providing a safe a vibrant learning community for young autistic individuals, ensuring a personalised support style to encourage each learner to unlock their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
- Ensure a personalised approach to encourage learner engagement
- Encourage self regulation to build confidence
- Use positive behaviour techniques
- Understand how ASD can create barriers to learner and how to overcome them
