A brilliant primary school in the London Borough of Islington is searching for a SEN Teaching Assistant 1:1 Support to support teaching in the classroom. This position is a September 2024 start ready for the new academic year!
The school is very creative and has been awarded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and is looking for a creative individual to enhance its support of SEN children at the school. As a SEN Teaching Assistant 1:1 Support, you will provide 1:1 support to a young person. Ensuring they receive a prestige education with appropriate care and creating an environment pupils can excel.
This SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support role is ideal for a graduate in Psychology/Criminology/Social Sciences because:

- £105 - £110 per day
- Full-time position - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm - Term time only
- Based in Islington
About the SEN Teaching Assistant 1:1 Support Role
- Utilising your creativity to excite and inspire pupils
- Providing 1:1 Support for pupils across Key Stages 1&2 with behaviour requirements as well as SEN.
- Tailored, high-quality CPD.
- Making learning accessible and engaging for a range of SEN (ASD, Dyslexia, ADHD)
SEN Teaching Assistant 1:1 Support - Person Specification
- 1:1 or 2:1 Degree
- Understand of SEN
- Experience with children (personal or professional)
- Strong communication skills
