Looking to further your experience with SEN as a SEN Teaching Assistant?

I am currently working with a great all-through school located in Barking, who are looking to expand their team of motivating individuals to support their pupils who have additional learning needs as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

SEN Teaching Assistant | The role:
  • Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
  • Building and maintaining successful relationships with pupils, whilst treating them with respect and consideration.
  • Assisting pupils with their educational and social development, on an individual or group basis.
SEN Teaching Assistant | Personal specification:
  • Minimum of a 2:1 degree ideally in Psychology or Criminology from a Top 30 UK University.
  • Some experience working with children in an educational environment would be desirable.
  • Have high expectations of learning and teaching.
  • Able to be a positive role model.
  • Be able to work collaboratively with a range of children.
This will be an amazing opportunity to gain an insight into working within a school as a SEN Teaching Assistant, and you can expect hands-on training and support from other members of staff around the school.
