Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN) in a mainstream primary school?

Do you have the dedication to support pupils educational journey and foster an inclusive learning environment? If you answered yes, we want you to join us at Tradewind as an SEN Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 121 or small group support to students with SEN in a mainstream primary school, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Implement strategies and interventions to support the academic and social development of students.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the diverse needs of students.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Provide references from the last 2 years.
  • Up to date CV with full career history
