About the role

SEN Teaching Assistant working with pupil in Year 2 with Autism.

Your roles will include-

  • Supporting the pupil throughout the day where needed
  • Identifying the pupils needs throughout the day and supporting the pupil based off of these needs
  • Working alongside the class teacher assisting with the pupils learning, adjusting work if needed
  • Monitoring pupils progress in the classroom
  • Supporting the pupils social, emotional and academic needs throughout the day
About the school

The school is a two form mainstream primary school.

The school are looking for someone who has a strong passion for working with SEN pupils and can provide all the support needed to the pupil with the support of the SENCO and class teacher.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching assistant you will:

  • Have experience working as a Teaching assistant
  • Be able to work Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:00
  • Have a desire to work with pupils with SEN

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Experience working as a TA
Key responsibilities

As SEN Teaching assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Support the pupil throughout the day wherever needed while working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the pupil is receiving all the support needed
