Role Highlights for an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Salary: £80-£100 per day.
- Location: Schools across East London, particularly within the borough of Waltham Forest, including areas such as Walthamstow, Leyton, and Chingford.
Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, such as Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, and Speech, Language & Communication needs.
- Work alongside classroom teachers to implement personalised strategies that enable students to access the curriculum and progress in their learning.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, ensuring all students feel valued and able to succeed.
- Assist with managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive social and emotional development.
We're Looking For in an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally in a school environment.
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with students.
- The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to achieve the best outcomes for students.
