Sanza Teaching Agency are working exclusively with an Outstanding primary School in Haringey to find exceptional and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 1 with a diagnosis for ASC. The pupil requiring support has made exceptional progress during reception. My client is seeking a caring and committed teaching assistant with a background in supporting young children

Person Specification

  • For this post, you must be an assertive and caring Teaching Assistant who has previous experience working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role. You will provide a willingness to contribute to all lessons and overseeing the preparation of lessons for the pupil in your charge. You must have the skills to confidently face challenging situations with a calm and collective approach. Previous experience supporting students with Autism is an essential requirement of this role.

About the Role

  • You will be working in KS1 to support a pupil with special educational needs. This child needs routine and consistency, so a TA with excellent organisational skills, dependable and hardworking would be ideal.
