Academics is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a wonderful child with Autism in a vibrant Hammersmith school.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Provide one-on-one support to a child with Autism, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with educational and social activities, promoting engagement and development
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement personalized learning plans
  • Support communication and social skills, encouraging independence and confidence
  • Monitor and document progress, adapting strategies as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with Autism or special educational needs is preferred
  • Strong communication skills with a patient and empathetic approach
  • A relevant qualification in teaching assistance or child development is an advantage
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships
