Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in supporting SEN pupils.
  • Assist in planning and implementing activities in line with EHCPs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with SEN children.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of SEN, including ASD and ADHD.
  • Desirable: Experience working with children with SEN within a school setting.
