A diverse and friendly Primary School in the inner London Borough of Brent are looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant.
You will be working in a Year 4 class as a SEN Teaching Assistant. You will be supporting a child who has Autism (ASD), working on a 1:1 basis with the child. You will also provide general support to the rest of the class in a Teaching Assistant role.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a school that fosters effective and supportive relationships between pupils and staff, encouraging excellent progress both academically and personally.

JOB DESCRIPTION - SEN Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant KS2
Working in a Year 4 class
Supporting a child with Autism / ASD on a 1:1 basis
Supporting the rest of the class as a general TA
Full time & long-term role entire academic year
£85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Benefits package including being paid in line with national pay scales (AWR) and referral bonuses of up to £250
PERSON SPECIFICATION SEN Teaching Assistant
Good record of academics degree, A level, GCSEs
Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
Experience in a previous SEN role, or personal experience with SEN, essential
You must be able to work effectively as part of a large team, and be willing to learn
Must have an outgoing, forward-thinking and creative personality
Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
