Job Advert: SEN Teaching Assistant - Islington

Tradewind are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Islington. This full-time position involves working 1:1 with a child who has Autism and is non-verbal, starting at the beginning of October.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to a child with Autism in a mainstream classroom.
  • Assist the child in communicating through PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) cards.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the child's individual needs are met.
