Reeson Education are working with a small and thriving primary school based in Fulham who are looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN teaching assistant.

As the SEN teaching assistant, you will have the opportunity to work within EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on your experience. Your role will be supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day, managing behaviour, adapting class lessons and provide emotional support.

This SEN teaching assistant role requires someone with patience, compassion and a strong desire to ensure the pupils with special educational needs get the most out of their primary education. You will need to be able to set clear boundaries, high expectations and adhere to the school's behaviour policies. Ideally you will have some SEN techniques experience such as Makaton, PECs, lego therapy, team teach etc, along with a minimum of 3 months support children with SEN.

This primary school will also consider SEN teaching assistants with close personal SEN experience.

This role will be full time and until the end of the academic year with the opportunity for the SEN teaching assistant to secure a permanent contract with school from September 2025. The hours are 8:30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday and there will be opportunities to run/work with the tutoring clubs during the summer holidays.
