We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant at a Hackney school, starting after the October half term!

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing tailored support to children with a variety of disabilities and SEN.
• Assisting the class teacher in implementing personalised learning plans.
• Supporting students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Helping maintain an inclusive, safe, and positive classroom environment.
• Collaborating with the teaching staff and SENCO to meet the needs of all students.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEN is essential.
• A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to the varied needs of each student.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
