Role and Responsibilities:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with Special Educational Needs, providing tailored support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with the SENCO and other staff members to address individual needs.

Requirements:

A compasisonate, 'can do' attitude and ability to connect with SEN students is the most important thing for this role - we offer accredited training and upskilling for those with the right personailty!

  • Previous experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or related fields
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Passion for supporting the educational development of students with diverse needs.
