Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for your next challenge? Or perhaps a nursery worker seeking better hours and career progression?

LTF Recruitment is now recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Havering. The school is launching a brand-new specialist provision unit to ensure high-quality education for students with additional needs.

In this role, you will work closely with the SENCo and Classroom Teacher to support student engagement in lessons. You will also maintain accurate records of the progress of the students you support on a 1:1 or small group basis, focusing on both physical and educational development.

Ideal Requirements:

  • Experience working in a primary school or nursery (paid work, placements, or voluntary).
  • Knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification, or a related degree.
  • Experience or willingness to work with children with SEN.
  • A collaborative team player who can work under the direction of the class teacher.
  • A positive, caring, and proactive attitude.
