Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 1)

Location: Waltham Forest, East London

Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM

Pay: £90 - £115 PAYE (increasing by £10 after 12 weeks)

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a delightful primary school in Waltham Forest, known for its spacious grounds and commitment to "Every child can be a star!"

Role:

  • 1:1 and small group interventions for SEN children in a Key Stage 1 class
  • 8:45-3:45 hours
  • Support and assist teacher with general classroom tasks
  • Behaviour management
  • LSA

About you:

  • Experience working in a school setting
  • Experience working with SEN children is preferable
  • Working collectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • DBS on the update service is preferable
  • Patient, calm and passionate about helping young children
