Working Hours: 08:15 am to 03:45 pm (Monday to Friday)

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Islington. This long-term role will give you the chance to work closely with children and make a positive impact on their education and personal development.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to a student with SEN, focusing on both academic and personal care needs.
- Develop and implement tailored educational activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure a consistent approach.
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet the child's needs.
- Create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is essential.
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Ability to assist with personal care.
- A patient, positive, and proactive attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service is required.
