Academics are seeking a Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to support two children with high special educational needs (SEN) in our nurturing nursery environment in Wandsworth

Academics are working with a warm and inclusive school nursery committed to providing high-quality education and care for all children. Our dedicated staff work collaboratively to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where every child can thrive.What We Are Looking For as a SEN Teaching Assistant:- Experience working with children in early years, particularly those with special educational needs. - A patient and understanding approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and their families. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members. - A proactive mindset, ready to adapt to the individual needs of the children you support.

Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the daily care and support of two children with high SEN needs. - Implement tailored learning activities and strategies to enhance their development and engagement. - Work closely with the nursery team to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. - Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to the lead staff as necessary. - Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed of their child's development.
