SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism Support - Class of 4 Children
A primary school in Tottenham is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a class of 4 children with Autism. The class is supported by 3 LSA's and a class teacher, providing a highly structured and collaborative environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children who have complex needs in a small, supportive setting. The position starts ASAP.
Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to children with Autism, helping them with their academic and social development.
- Work alongside the class teacher and 3 LSA's to implement structured learning activities suited to the needs of the students.
- Assist in managing behaviour and creating a calm and focused learning environment.
- Help children with communication and sensory needs, providing tailored support for each child's individual learning plan.

Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant:
