SEN Teaching Assistant Required in Tower Hamlets

Location: Redbridge

Description:

Prospero teaching is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted 'GOOD' school which recognise that every child has unique and special needs that require individualisation, imagination and enthusiasm to ensure success.

The successful applicants will have:

  • Experience working with ASD
  • Ability to work with challenging behaviour
  • Previous experience working between the ages of 11 to 19 years old
  • Valid and enhanced child and adult DBS

The role consists of:

  • Supporting the class teacher
  • 1:1 time with students
  • Personal care
  • Keeping a level of focus and discipline to match the ages and abilities of the students in the classroom
  • Building good student - teacher rapport.
