Job Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Daily, Part-Time, and Full-Time positions available
Pay Rate: 85 - 125 per day

The Job Role:
  • Work 1:1 with children who have a wide range of needs such as Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, and Speech and Language difficulties.
  • Provide tailored support for children with sensory processing issues, physical disabilities, and complex medical conditions.
  • Ensure safety and wellbeing, creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
  • Foster engagement in learning through creative play, sensory activities, and hands-on educational tasks that inspire curiosity and build essential life skills.
About You:
  • Passionate about making a difference-whether you've worked in schools before or have experience in the care or support sectors, we value your enthusiasm and dedication to helping children with SEND reach their full potential.
  • You'll have experience working with children or adults who have conditions such as Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), or Sensory Impairments.
  • You're confident, patient, and able to adapt to different learning styles, providing support to students with complex needs such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and Specific Learning Difficulties like Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
