The role – SEN Teaching Assistant

  • The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be required to support young people with SEMH, ADHD, ASD and other learning disabilities, providing support and learning materials to cater for all abilities.
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students, assisting with learning tasks and promoting their inclusion in classroom activities.
  • Build a trusting and positive relationships with students and communicate according to their understanding
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to help build students resilience and confidence.
  • Under the guidance of teaching staff, provide feedback to students, parents and carers about their progress, achievements and any potential issues.
