We are working with a wonderful mainstream primary based in the heart of London, where there are excellent transport links. They are looking for a passionate and dedicatedSEN Teaching Assistantto join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team, based at their OFSTED OUTSTANDINGprimary school in Kings Cross/Euston.

Key Responsibilities - SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide daily 1-1 support to an early years child who hasASD and is non - verbal.
  • Tailor learning materials to meet the students needs and ensure confidence within the student.
  • Give daily feedback to staff and parents on students progress/development.

Skills & Experience - SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children in an early years or primary school setting, ideally within an EYFS class.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and developmental milestones.
  • Experience working with children who have additional needs, including special educational needs (SEN)
  • Knowledge of phonics and early literacy strategies
  • An understanding of effective strategies to support social and emotional development in young children,
