Camden Primary School is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a child in a Year 4 class who has Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working with children with special needs, particularly Down Syndrome and ASD.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the child's parents, teachers, and other support staff.
A patient and supportive approach to teaching, with a focus on creating a structured and nurturing environment for the child.
The ability to use visual aids and play-based activities to engage and support the child's learning.
A positive and encouraging attitude, with a focus on reinforcing the child's efforts and achievements.
