Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Reeson Education is excited to offer a 1:1 SEN TA role in a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest, providing targeted support to a pupil with ASD.

The Role:
  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support).
  • Salary: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience.
  • Start Date: Immediate.
  • Location: Waltham Forest, East London.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping a pupil with ASD engage with learning, develop social skills, and build confidence.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 classroom support, ensuring personalised learning experiences.
  • Implement SEN strategies, including sensory activities and visual aids.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that meets the pupil's individual needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals.
  • Track progress and adapt support as needed.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children with ASD.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Experience with PECS, Makaton, or sensory strategies is beneficial but not essential.
