Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in ASD support, your responsibilities will include:
- Building a positive and supportive rapport with the student.
- Implementing tailored strategies to support the student's learning and social development.
- Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to create and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Providing one-on-one support and assistance during classroom activities.
- Monitoring and reporting on the student's progress and well-being.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience supporting students with ASD.
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support.
