Academics are looking for a SEN teaching assistant to work in a vibrant and inclusive school located in Hammersmith and Fulham. The school has a well-structured curriculum from early years to year 6. We are looking for a passionate, patient and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensuring they have the best possible learning experience. The school is looking for someone to work with students with SEN across KS1 and KS2 and ensuring they are given full support in the class as well as outside the class.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1 and KS2)
Location: School located in Hammersmith and Fulham
Contract Type: Full-Time up - Monday to Friday
Daily Rate: £90-£110 (Choice of Umbrella or PAYE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with various SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans, ensuring students' individual needs are met.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to track student progress and contribute to the development of strategies to support learning.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students with SEN, helping them build confidence and independence.
  • Encourage and promote positive behaviour and attitudes within the school community.
