Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Long-Term Role)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partnered schools in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and committed to making a positive impact on students' learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN.

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.

  • Support students with their social, emotional, and educational development.

  • Adapt learning materials and resources to suit individual student needs.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external specialists to provide effective support.

  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly within SEN settings.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.

  • Understanding of strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or other additional needs.

  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent are desirable but not essential.
