Are you a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real impact? A welcoming primary school in Greenwich is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs.
SEN Teaching Assistant - Role Overview:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEN, including autism and ADHD.
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Implement individual learning plans to support academic and social development.
- Work closely with the SENCO and external specialists to support student progress.
- Encourage independence and confidence in students with additional needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- A passion for working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
