Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant ready to support pupils with complex needs in a nurturing and inclusive primary school environment? Your Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with EHCPs both within the classroom and in a dedicated SEN base

  • Use visual aids, sensory activities, and structured interventions to promote learning

  • Help pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and behaviour support

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and the SENCO to meet individual needs

  • Celebrate small wins and milestones, boosting pupils' confidence and progress

What You'll Need:
  • Prior experience as an SEN TA, LSA, or behaviour mentor

  • Experience working with children with autism, complex needs or SEMH

  • Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or sensory-based strategies (a plus, not essential)

  • Calm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to inclusive education

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
