Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to a child with high needs, promoting engagement and learning.
- Implement tailored strategies to encourage confidence, communication, and social interaction.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to follow the child's individual support plan.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with high needs, Autism, or other SEN.
- Understanding of SEN strategies and behaviour management techniques.
Strong communication and teamwork skills. - A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
