A welcoming, Catholic Primary school in Waltham Forest are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with Downs Syndrome on a 1 to 1 basis for the summer term.
The Role
In this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will be supporting a pupil in with Downs Syndrome. The child is joining the school in reception in September. After an initial assessment period, you will work with the class teacher and SENCo to prepare a learning programme to meet the child’s needs so they are able to access learning and development activities alongside their peers.
The school are looking for a caring and confident SEN Teaching Assistant with previous experience supporting children with special educational needs.
