The role will include supporting pupils with a primary diagnosis of autism and may have additional diagnoses that can affect their learning and engagement.The successful candidate will support the adapted curriculum across all core subjects and will also support students with speech & language interventions and occupational therapy interventions.Key responsibilities:• Provide one-to-one SEN support in the classroom via key interventions• To assist teaching staff to plan and prepare lessons and resources within the school curriculum• To prepare and support the delivery of interventions for therapy staff• To produce and maintain up-to-date pupils' profile and behaviour plans• To follow school procedures in reporting incidents and safeguarding concerns• To participate in supervision and support as requiredWhy Horizon Teachers:• We offer our support staff the highest rates up to £650 per week!• A team of specialist education consultants and many with years of education experience • We provide interview preparation and guidance throughout your job search Horizon Teachers is a specialist Education Recruitment Consultancy that helps Teachers and Support Staff find long term, permanent and interim employment in Primary, Secondary and Special Schools throughout London, the South East, the Midlands and the North of England.
