SEND Teaching Assistant - Requirements of applicant:

? Experience working with children with SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), and other learning difficulties.

? Ability to manage challenging behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques.

? Strong communication skills to effectively support students, teachers, and parents.

? Patience, empathy, and resilience to work with pupils who require additional support.

? Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment.

? Ability to adapt learning materials and activities to meet the needs of individual pupils.

? Collaborative mindset to work effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists.
