About the Role:

We are a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in the heart of Newham, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will work closely with students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language difficulties.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN in and out of the classroom

  • Work one-to-one or in small groups to aid learning and development

  • Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and differentiation

  • Support the creation of a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

We're Looking For:
  • A calm, caring and resilient individual with a genuine interest in SEN

  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with children/young people is desirable

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
