A caring and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with ASD and speech and language needs. The school has a strong reputation for supporting students with a range of additional needs and offers excellent training and staff support.
This role requires someone calm, nurturing, and proactive who can build a positive and consistent relationship with the pupil while working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement strategies and meet EHCP targets.
Duties Will Include:

Providing 1:1 support in and out of the classroom

Supporting social communication and regulation strategies

Helping to adapt and differentiate tasks to the pupil's learning level

Monitoring progress and feeding back to staff and parents

Promoting independence and confidence
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience supporting children with ASD or similar needs

A confident understanding of SEN support strategies

Excellent communication and empathy skills

Strong team working ability and adaptability
