This SEN Teaching Assistant position is perfect for those with a Psychology background who are keen to apply their knowledge in a practical, rewarding school setting. You will be working closely with pupils who have autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs, helping them thrive in the classroom.
The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant:
Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role starting immediately
Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Assisting pupils with social communication, emotional regulation, and academic tasks
Collaborating with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
Who We Are Looking For:
A Psychology graduate or someone with experience supporting children with SEN
A patient and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant with a proactive approach
Experience working with autism, SEMH, or communication needs (desirable)
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
