Are you a Psychology graduate or someone with a strong interest in child development and SEN support? Reeson Education is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Waltham Forest.

This SEN Teaching Assistant position is perfect for those with a Psychology background who are keen to apply their knowledge in a practical, rewarding school setting. You will be working closely with pupils who have autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs, helping them thrive in the classroom.



The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role starting immediately

  • Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

  • Assisting pupils with social communication, emotional regulation, and academic tasks

  • Collaborating with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals



Who We Are Looking For:

  • A Psychology graduate or someone with experience supporting children with SEN

  • A patient and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant with a proactive approach

  • Experience working with autism, SEMH, or communication needs (desirable)

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
