SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Resource Provision)

Dunbar Education are working on behalf of a ARP to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to work to support one of their students with Autism on a 1:1 basis. The child has moderate Learning Difficulties and displays some signs of challenging behaviour.The role will be working as a bridge between the student & the teacher and ensuring that the student is learning, behaving and safeguarded.This is a full-time long-term position through all of 24/25 academic year where you will be expected to work 8:30 - 3:30 on-site during term time.

The school is located a 10 minute walk from the local train station which is accessible on the underground, and also has on-site parking.

As you will be working with a student that is vulnerable, it is essential to have both the experience and character to support this student appropriately so there will be vetting done on our end to ensure that you are a suitable fit for the student.
