Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Camden, North London
Pay: £95-£105 per day (PAYE)
Contract: October 2024 - July 2025 (term-time only)
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 08:30-15:30

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team at one of our partner schools in Camden. This role is ideal for a psychology graduate (or related subject) with a minimum 2:1 degree who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a vibrant and inclusive community.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience is essential: Candidates must have prior school-based experience working with neurodiverse or SEN students.
  • A strong understanding of strategies to support children with Autism, ADHD, or other additional needs.
  • Proven ability to engage students in their learning and manage behaviour effectively.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Camden, you will provide tailored 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN, helping them access the curriculum in a way that suits their needs. You will work closely with the school’s SENCo to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support students’ social and emotional development, creating a safe and positive learning environment.
