About Us:

We are working with a two-form entry primary school in the heart of the Lewisham borough. They are looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. Their vision for children is that they leave the school knowing they are both loveable and capable . If you have the relevant experience and a keen interest in SEN, please read on!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be able to engage and progress the learning of SEN pupils
  • Team player who will make a positive contribution to the school team
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Be able to think 'outside the box’ to extend pupil learning
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with SEN
  • Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with SEN pupils
  • Knowledge: Understanding of supporting SEN pupils
  • Desirable: Experience working with SEN children
