About Us:
We are working with a two-form entry primary school in the heart of the Lewisham borough. They are looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. Key Responsibilities:
- Be able to engage and progress the learning of SEN pupils
- Team player who will make a positive contribution to the school team
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Be able to think 'outside the box’ to extend pupil learning
- Provide one-on-one support to children with SEN
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience working with SEN pupils
- Knowledge: Understanding of supporting SEN pupils
- Desirable: Experience working with SEN children
