Daily Duties:
- Provide tailored support to students with ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties in a secondary school setting.
- Assist teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting lesson materials to meet diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Support students during lessons, ensuring they understand the material and stay focused on tasks.
- Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors in a constructive manner, promoting emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
- Engage with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student development and support.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in SEN support.
- Contribute to the overall safety and well-being of students within the secondary school environment.
