We are looking for two exceptional individuals who are committed to fostering development and creating a positive learning experience for young learners with special educational needs.

Role Overview

Position 1: 1:1 Special Needs Learning Support Assistant

Position 2: SEN Teaching Assistant supporting children in a mainstream nursery setting

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting nursery-aged children with SEN, particularly those who are pre-verbal and developing their understanding of the world around them.

Providing structure and consistency to ensure children benefit from a stable routine.

Assisting with lesson preparation and delivering tailored activities that promote growth and engagement.

Building strong, nurturing relationships to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working with children with SEN, either in a professional or volunteer capacity.

Demonstrate a calm, confident, and compassionate approach, especially in challenging situations.

Be reliable, organized, and committed to providing high-quality support for young learners.

Show enthusiasm for working in a collaborative environment and contributing to the broader school community.
